08.05.12
10:14 pm

It started with a $75 ticket into a Step 1 satellite. Peter Ramondi, from Grimsby, Ontario, Canada won a ticket into a Step  on Friday afternoon, then proceed to get a ticket into the Main Event after the Step 2 winners agreed to pay the “bubble” person his ticket into the Main Event. That was Peter.

Peter played perfect poker for the past two days to win the Summer Showdown Main Event.

Just goes to show that YOU too can win the Main Evet by winning a Step 1 and Step 2 satellite.

Congratulations to Peter !

This time two months ago, Tom Leonard (@TomLeo67) finshed 10th in the 2012 Spring Showdown Main Event and vowed to last longer in the Summer Showdown Main Event. Well, he has accomplished that by having almost 1.0M in chips and looks to win the event.

The last hand he just picked up 240K when his AK was good against Ryan Mostafa’s unknown hand.

Andrew Merulla – 9th Place – $4287

08.05.12
07:52 pm

After having a crushing blow to his stack the hand before to Tom Leonard, Andrew is down to his last 9k in chips. Goes all-in blindly to get called by Thomas Mou’s QJ.

Andrew finishes in 9th place.
